Julio – 2018 AQHA Gelding. Head / Heel. Cowhorse. Reining. Ranch cutting.

Julio – 2018 AQHA Gelding
Standing 14.3hh, this dark bay grandson of Metallic Cat is the real deal — broke, talented, and ready to go any direction.

Julio has been shown in reining, working cow horse, and ranch cutting, and it shows. He’s soft, stylish, and quick-footed, with all the handle you could want. Out on the ranch or down the trail, he’s absolutely solid — crosses anything and always aims to please.

He’s got all the makings of a top-notch head or heel horse prospect — catty, fast, and plenty of motor when you need it, but still easy to be around. No bad habits, no drama, just a good-minded gelding that’s been there, done that, and stays honest about his work.

A true all-around athlete with the pedigree and brains to match — Julio’s the kind of gelding you’ll be proud to own.

Pancho 2021 AQHA Gelding- Head or Heel.

Chips Pancho – 2021 AQHA Gelding
Sired by the great Alabama Bullet, this 15hh gelding is the real deal — good-minded, good-looking, and coming along strong in the arena.

Pancho’s been used outside for miles — gathering, sorting, and chasing cows across all kinds of country — and he’s as broke and reliable as they come. In the arena, he’s making a solid head and heel horse, with a smooth handle, soft feel in the bridle, and plenty of pull when you ask for it.

He’s also had about 30 days on the barrel pattern, showing the same willing attitude and athletic ability that makes him a standout prospect in any direction.

Quiet, cowy, and level-headed, Pancho’s got the kind of foundation that turns into a real one — the kind you can rope on all day and enjoy doing it.

Bentley- 2020 AQHA Gelding.

Cool Rowdy Remedy aka “Bentley “

2020 AQHA Gelding. 14hh. Stout made bay gelding.

Bentley is the kind of gelding folks spend a lifetime trying to find. He’s a 2020 AQHA bay gelding standing 14 hands — short enough to swing a leg over easily, but built like one of the big boys. Thick, strong, big-boned, and solid black feet under him. He’s the definition of stout made with muscle in all the right places.

Bentley is out of sire Colonel Remi by Reminic (sire of earners of over $3,000,000) and Annie Freckles (NCHA money earner by the legendary Colonel Freckles) has NRHA earnings of over $10,000 and 24 AQHA Performance points. On the bottom side, Cool Wimp goes back to the great Wimpy’s Little Step whos offspring has broken countless records in the reining world.

Bentley is quiet every day of the week — born broke and stays broke with time off. Just saddle up and walk off- No funny business. He’s the horse that trots over to meet you at the gate and has his head over the fence wondering what youre doing. Bentley loves his people and wants to be your friend.

He started his career in a professional reining program in Canada and has extensive arena training. Bentley has lifetime NRHA earnings and has been successfully shown by a non-pro. He has a beautiful low head carriage, a natural stop, and effortless turnarounds, with that smooth-as-butter rocking chair lope everyone wants to sit.

This last year, Bentley traded the show pen for the wide-open hills of Alberta, learning the ropes of a true ranch horse. He’s been used to gather, sort, and doctor cattle in rough country — crossing creeks, climbing hills, and stepping through timber with confidence and heart. He’s surefooted, steady, and has a great work ethic.

Bentley has also been started on the heel side in the roping arena. While he’s not a speed demon, he’s honest, quiet in the box, and would make a perfect low-number heel horse for someone who wants to go slow and have fun.

But Bentley isn’t just broke — he’s a bit of a trick horse.
He’ll sidepass to the fence so you can get on. Bentley will pick up ropes, hats, or gloves off the ground and hand them to you in the saddle, and even bow gracefully to one knee on cue. Hes handy, responsive, and always thinking, he’s as fun to ride as he is to watch.

He’s versatile, talented, and kind-hearted — even shown in Western Dressage. Around the barn, Bentley is all class: gentle, patient, and absolutely loves attention. He’s a horse you can trust your kids around — a steady babysitter who’s safe, kind, and completely unbothered by noise, tarps, flags, or the chaos provided by young children running around at his feet and throwing toys around him.

If you’re looking for a gelding that combines reining training, ranch experience, and unmatched disposition, Bentley checks every box. He’s the horse you can take to the show pen Saturday, trail ride Sunday, and trust to meet you at the gate Monday morning.

Bentley is the complete package: looks, brains, talent, and heart.
Show him, ranch on him, trail ride him, or teach him new tricks.

He’ll give you 100% every time.

Bentley – a true gentleman with all the buttons, all the heart, and all the class.

Tick- 2021 AQHA Gelding. Head Horse

Tick – 2021 AQHA Grey Gelding
Sired with Great Special Effort and Wrangler War Leo right on his papers, Tick’s bred to have both speed, cow and sense — and he proves it every day.

Raised on a big cow-calf ranch in Saskatchewan, he’s packed miles of real outside work: crossing water, rough country, and moving cattle like it’s second nature. He’s big, stout, and sure-footed with solid feet — barefoot and sound. Hes got some filling out to do yet but he is going to be a stout gelding.

Tick isn’t built for the reining or the show pen, but he’s coming along nicely — softening in the bridle, neck reining, side passing, and starting to sit on that big hip of his. He’s been hauled to the arena as a head horse, and he’s starting to find some wheels. Backs in the box and stands quiet, runs to the cow, pulls strong, and starting to face. Hes just one of those horses that makes catching easy. Tick has been to a couple ranch rodeos as well.

He’s as uncomplicated and kind as they come — quiet, safe, and never does anything dumb. No buck, no pull-back, no nonsense. Just easy to be around and eager to please. He’s not going to be your open caliber head horse, but he’s got plenty of run for the 12 and down ropers — and all the heart in the world.

Perfect for someone wanting a reliable, user-friendly gelding that can work all week and rope on the weekends. Heck, we even throw the kids on him for leadline. Tick is an old soul.

2019 AQHA Gelding ‘Gomer’ Head Horse

2019 AQHA Gelding ‘ Baby Blue Solanos’  – AKA Gomer. Because he has the personality to match. Gomer is a finished head horse that is easy to rope on. Good in the box, lots and lots of run, rates cattle, nice move in the corner and a snappy face. He has enough run for the high numbers but is really easy to catch on for a lower numbered roper. He has been hauled to jackpots and world series ropings and futurities.

15.2HH Stout Sorrel , big black feet, no blemishes, straight legs.

Gomer is a finished head horse that is easy to rope on. Good in the box, lots and lots of run, rates cattle, nice move in the corner and a snappy face. He has enough run for the high numbers but is really easy to catch on for a lower numbered roper.

This is definitely one of the nicest horses we have had in our barn. He has the best personality. Super friendly, in your pocket, not bothered by tarps, dogs, traffic. Just one of the really easy to get along with horses everyone loves.

Gomer is a trick horse! He can pickup ropes and hand them to you in the saddle when you’re roping. He will side pass to the fence or mounting block to help you get on.

All around, a nice horse that has seen his share of miles on the ranch. He has a fancy handle, correct spins, wants to really stop for a big horse, rides soft in the bridle and collected.

When kept in regular work, he is safe and suitable for the whole family. With extended time off, he may offer a few crow hops during warm-up — more like a couple of quick lead changes than a buck. He has certainly never bucked anyone off, and you can pull him up and hes over it. He is not mean or dirty about it and goes right back to work once warmed up.

George is out of the Diamond K Ranch and has the great Pepinics Master on his papers.  We have flagged him, tarped him, rode him on the ranch, packed flags on him and he has gone down the trail and out in the mountains.
